    Father and Son, Greater Things!

    But Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth. The Son can do nothing alone. The Son does only what he sees his Father doing. The Son does the same things that the Father does. The Father loves the Son, and the Father shows the Son all the things he does. {This man was healed.} But the Father will show the Son greater things than this to do. Then you will all be amazed.

    KEY THOUGHT:
    Astonished? Yes, that is the word for it. Jesus will do many moremiracles in his ministry, he will touch many more people, and he willteach many other awe-inspiring truths. They haven't begun to see allthat God will reveal through his Son. The greatest of them, however,will bring them to full astonishment; God will raise his Son from thedead and bring him back to life in their presence. They will beastonished. Then they will begin to do great works in his name and thework of Jesus will continue to astonish as he works through hisdisciples. Jesus' work is astonishing! And, if you will look closely,some of that astonishing work is being done in you!
