    @ 8:04 PM

hello everyone. just thought i wanted to share my testimony of my good results to you guys. i wont share the grades, but i will share the marks.

    English 69
    Chinese 64
    Maths 84
    Science 82
    Geog 61
    Hist 69
    LIt 63
    HE 68
    D&T 79
    Art 75

as you can see, my maths and science are my strong subs. and the rest are just average. but i really wanna thank God for my chinese. it has always been in the region of 40-50. i still remember, my first chinese test of the year, i got 33/100. i knew chinese was going to be tough. yet i put it into God's hands. i didnt know how God was going to do it. but i just put in my determination. little did i expect a B4. of course, i set in my heart to do wonderfully well for maths and science so that my chances of getting into triple science would be higher.

my class position for the entire year is 7. i totally surprised myself. i expected something between 15-25. knowing i was not the studious type, i knew everything was decided by God. my overall % of the year: 71.4. again, how can my % be so high when most of my subs are just average. thank God for everything in my studies. my level position for the entire year is 44. its considered great for me. at the same time last year, my level position was 81.

i wanna challenge you all, not to compromise on God, and He will bless you in your life. your studies, your friendships, your family, even your walk. sure, there are various tests and temptations along the way, but if you face it with the right attitude of "i know God wants to train me", im sure you will realise the meaning of James 1:2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds. as you all know, i havent been compromising on God for the sake of my studies or anything, like skipping services. i have not been compromising, but growing instead. the vision of me becoming a bassist was coming true, but it had its own price to pay. me joining the worship ministry was definitely a big step for me. and of course it had a bigger price to pay too. thats because i dont want to be careless with God's presence. i desire to honour God, and that comes with costs. of course, God wants our heart, not our hands. dont let anything block you from your relationship with God. its the topmost priority in our lives.

what do you need to have a great relationship with God? you just need 2 things; simple faith and the Bible. since its now the hols, continue to read, study, memorise God's Word. it will definitely help you.

and let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
